Personality Bio
I was born in the USA, more specifically Spokane, Washington. As I was graduating from High School I found the one thing I was really good at was talking, and talking and…well you get the picture.

So I left to find my fame and fortune in Hollywood where I went to a broadcasting school and lucked into a few cool events. I was a dancer for five weeks on American Bandstand and got to take over a segment called Rate The Record. I got my first real job in San Diego at a station called KDIG in LaJolla, California, playing jazz music and when I started looking forward to Claudine Longet songs I knew it was time to go so I became an Account Executive at a San Diego Rock Station, sold the station’s first annual to the biggest ‘head’ shop in town.

Aside from my early success however it became apparent that I should stick to working on-air. I did some acting while in San Diego (played the prostitute in “One Flew Over The Cockoo’s Nest”) and I got a job as Programming assistant to an ABC affiliate Television station, XETV). But I got homesick and came back to do “Dialing For Dollars” on KXLY Television. That lasted until I got a job at 92.9 KREM-FM. It was at that point that Denver called and I left for KBPI, The Rock of the Rockies. Every month they fired someone, I lasted eleven months and then headed off to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and KATT. The lure of going back to the Pacific Northwest was too much for me though so when I was offered a job in Seattle at KZOK, I jumped (actually I think I ran). KZOK was great but it was time to make a trip home so I worked at APPLE-FM. A company that then talked me into going to Kansas City, Missouri (they must have plied me with liquor before they talked me into that move) at KIEE. I was supposed to be working in a suburb of Kansas City, but it probably wouldn’t be until the year 3000. It was however, the middle of Tornado alley, believe me I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. So back to Spokane and another trip to KREM-FM which shortly after changed to The Zoo, making Fresno, California for some odd reason look good to me. Now I was sweating my butt off in the desert at KKDJ when the rain of Seattle beckoned me back to KXRX. The traffic however chased my back home to Spokane where C. Foster Kane, then Program Director of KKZX hired me, and where I found a real home. (except for a short unfortunate excursion across the street).

I started at KKZX as Vic At Night and now I’m the Program Director and Mid-Day Air Talent and I’m here to stay.

IT'S SUMMERTIME AND THE WINNIN' IS EASY
Wednesday 08-20-2008 3:46pm PT

This is the time of the year when the livin' is easy and around here the winnin' is too.  There are so many cool things to do during the 98 Days of Summer.......Blues Cruises, White Water Rafting Trips, Concerts, Free Flicks, Golf Tournaments, Outdoor Music Festivals, Party Busses to concerts, Parties on the Patio.  If you're a workaholic like me let me impart one word upon your brain.....'vacation'....I took one recently and it was like charging up my batteries.  I'm definitely feeling frisky again and now I'm ready for the countdown to the first NFL game of the season.  Which by the way you can keep track of on the front page of our website which is has a countdown to the first Seahawk game.

I'm not ready to give up Summer yet though and we have a bunch of great concerts to end out the season.  Friday 8/22 it's BLUE OYSTER CULT, GREAT WHITE & RAIL at the new TWO RIVERS CASINO AMPHITHEATER right on LAKE ROOSEVELT.  DOKKEN is at THE KNITTING FACTORY (formerly Big Easy) Sept 3rd.
FOGHAT, GOLDIE MCJOHN of STEPPENWOLF, LEON HENDRIX and the MYSTERIENCE, CIVILIZED ANIMAL and JAVA KOLA are coming to a really fun new venue, FARRAGUT STATE AMPHITHEATER there's nothing like sitting in a cozy lawn chair in the midst of nature, listening to 'live' Rock n Roll and camping.  JOURNEY, HEART and CHEAP TRICK are coming to the SPOKANE VETERANS MEMORIAL ARENA, Sept 22nd and FOREIGNER will be at NORTHERN QUEST CASINO, Sept 26th.

KKZX will be doing MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL again and this year we'll be at four different places, we'll be back at FIZZY'S as well as BOTTOMS UP in the valley and STADIUM PIZZA.

Gotta go for now I've got to get back to that radio thing.....

ROCK ON!!!!!!
