Personality Bio
A relatively recent transplant from Portland, Oregon, I actually have a lot of familiarity with the Spokane area, which played a part in my moving to the Inland Empire in August 2006.

It's nice to have graduated from getting Jason's coffee, or copying papers for Vic, or washing Trucker Dave's rig; and finally getting to celebrate the world of classic rock on Saturday nights.

Yes, I may be young (of legal drinking age if you must know), but growing up my dad always had 92.3 KGON in Portland tuned in while he drove us all around town. That is where my love for Boston, the Doobie Brothers, the Eagles, Aerosmith, etc. etc. came from.

I'm a huge sports nut, and that could be an understatement, but I don't know how to say it any more clearly than that. So don't be surprised to see me out and about at station events concerning NCAA basketball or Monday Night Football or the Spokane Indians.

Dude Looks Like A Lady?
Wednesday 06-04-2008 7:31pm PT
Stevie Tyler -- at least as far as I'm concerned -- was not referring to me. However, when after handing RadioMan Jim Arnold one of his traffic reports for the morning, he promptly replied: "Thank ya, ma'am."

I think what he meant to say was, "thanks man," or some other variation which he is accustomed to responding with. Never have I been, nor ever in the future hope to be, mistaken for a lady. Is it because I'm pouting in my picture?

Ah, such is the life of an intern.
Where Did My Camera Go?

"Photograph -- I don't want your
Photograph -- I don't need your
Photograph -- All I've got is a photograph
But it's not enough."

Def Leppard. Styx. REO Speedwagon. Great show. And this was the best photo I could get because I couldn't find my stupid/expensive digital camera. I don't see what the purpose for having cameras on cell phones is if you can't take halfway decent pics.

Obviously, this was one of the first BIG events of the 2008 Series of Classic Rock. Rush, The Police, Steve Miller Band, Tom Petty, and more to come in what is shaping up to be one of the best classic rock summers in recent memory. For the latest info, on the keyword toolbar up above, type: "concerts".
Put Me In Coach...

I'M READY TO PLAY!

Maybe not centerfield, but I did get to throw out the first pitch at the Spokane Indians' season finale. Now I can cross that off my list of things to do in life. Here's a video of the toss, although slightly fuzzy...

First Pitch

Outfielder Eric Fry (#4) caught the pitch, saying, "it was a bit high and tight." Essentially meaning, had a batter been there, I would have beaned the guy.
