Stevie Tyler -- at least as far as I'm concerned -- was not referring to me. However, when after handing RadioMan Jim Arnold one of his traffic reports for the morning, he promptly replied: "Thank ya, ma'am."
I think what he meant to say was, "thanks man," or some other variation which he is accustomed to responding with. Never have I been, nor ever in the future hope to be, mistaken for a lady. Is it because I'm pouting in my picture?
Ah, such is the life of an intern.

But it's not enough."

Def Leppard. Styx. REO Speedwagon. Great show. And this was the best photo I could get because I couldn't find my stupid/expensive digital camera. I don't see what the purpose for having cameras on cell phones is if you can't take halfway decent pics.
Obviously, this was one of the first BIG events of the 2008 Series of Classic Rock. Rush, The Police, Steve Miller Band, Tom Petty, and more to come in what is shaping up to be one of the best classic rock summers in recent memory. For the latest info, on the keyword toolbar up above, type: "concerts".

I'M READY TO PLAY!
Maybe not centerfield, but I did get to throw out the first pitch at the Spokane Indians' season finale. Now I can cross that off my list of things to do in life. Here's a video of the toss, although slightly fuzzy...

More VideosOutfielder Eric Fry (#4) caught the pitch, saying, "it was a bit high and tight." Essentially meaning, had a batter been there, I would have beaned the guy.
